Location: Lacoste, France

During a 10 week stay in Lacoste, I had access to a small floor loom and seemingly endless trails to walk along. This series comes out of a desire to know a place, and also a waypoint of understanding myself and those close to me within it. The weavings tell stories of deepening friendship, an effort to please, of seeing myself in fragile weeds, and of new love. An almost sickeningly cliche experience of the south of France, that I suppose I needed to live.
